POLKA DOT JUMPSUIT - MISS SELFRIDGE / MESH TOP - TOPSHOP / SUNGLASSES - EBAY / NECKLACE - NEW LOOK / FLATFORMS - TOPSHOP

Hey y'all...

This was just a quickie outfit post before I went to the LiveFriday bloggers team meeting...everything is coming together for the event which is really exciting! I can't wait to unveil my outfits! Will follow up with some photos on my blog next week of course!

This playsuit is such a basic when I'm not sure what to wear, its so low maintenance & I can get away with putting nearly any top underneath & it looks good & is comfy...which is a BIG PLUS. The mesh crop top is a golden oldie that has seen me through many unay nights out when I'm stuck for what to wear.

On another note.... have you seen the UH-MAY-ZING necklaces Zara have bought out in the past weeks/months?! I've always had a thing for blingy necklaces & they are tempting me so much!

Not too sure what my hair is doing in this photo... clearly its own thing!

** All White Everything **

WHITE DRESS (VAVERY BRODERIE ANGLAIS SKATER DRESS)- MISSGUIDED.CO.UK / FLATFORMS - TOPSHOP / SUNGLASSES - EBAY / RUCKSACK - PRIMARK

This is what I wore to my friend's BBQ & drinkies in London at the weekend. Turns out I was a bit too  optimistic for sunshine & so my outfit wasn't the most weather appropriate thing I've ever worn, however, nothing was going to stop me wearing this amazing summer dress from Missguided.co.uk

I initially saw the dress advertised on the Missguided Facebook page where Rosie Fortescue (from Made in Chelsea) was wearing it. Its so stunning & having spent all summer in search of a white dress, I knew I'd finally found THE ONE.  It's stunning & I love the detail of the broderie anglais lace!

The story behind these beaut Topshop flatforms is very naughty of me. I went to drinks with a friend who was wearing them and thought how amazing they looked so obviously had to have them. (Absolutely no patience whatsoever!) Unfortunately they were sold out in Oxford so I asked my bestie Jess who was in London to get me some from the Oxford Street store & voila! That's dedication to shoes right there! The rucksack is just a standard Primark jobby.

Something exciting that I am doing is taking part in an Oxford Fashion Week event called LiveFriday. I'm so excited to be part of it. I'm styling three outfits for it! Will keep you all updated!

What have you got planned this week? What do you think of my all white look?

** A/W WISH LIST **

I'm feeling pretty shocked and nervous that Summer is practically over already! Where on earth has it gone?! Its not like we can complain about the weather as its been really hot (dare I say it) but it has definitely not been long enough!

This A/W is all about complete opposites. From girly pastels to male inspired oversized coats to grunge to total glamour. I love that there is so much to choose from!

I thought I should get my wardrobe organised for the upcoming months and so here are following items I'm lusting after:

1. Satin & Velvet Bralet - TOPSHOP

Being a lingerie addict I cannot get enough! This gorgeous bralet would be perfect for a night out with something high waisted! I'm so happy Pastels are back in this A/W.

2. High waisted belted trousers- RIVER ISLAND
As I've said before I love love love anything high waisted, its just so flattering. These trousers are perfect because they are smart enough for work wear & also would look amazing on a night out with a pair of strappy heels.

3.  Faux Fur Wrap -ASOS
Another pastel item I'm loving is this faux fur wrap from ASOS. I want one in every colour.

4. Maroon faux fur cota - LABEL LOUNGE (similar & cheaper on ebay!)
Faux fur coats are an absolute must for A/W. I am determined this year to get one early on, maroon is a great wintery colour & so I fell instantly in love with this coat.

5&6. Embellish Necklaces -ZARA
Being a big fan of a bit of bling & embellishments I saw these two beauties in Zara a few weeks ago and the rest was history. They are perfect, I can't decide between them, perfect for the mega glam look of A/W 13.

7. Dr Martens Boot's - OFFICE
I've always wanted a pair of DM's but even more so now that Punk is a major A/W trend.

8&9. Monocrome two piece- RIVER ISLAND
As a lover of black clothing I am still not over the monochrome look from last season & this two piece is beaut as it can be worn together or separately. Gimme gimme gimme.

What are you must haves for AW13?

Parachute pants & Primark jewels

NECKLACE - PRIMARK / TROUSERS - DOROTHY PERKINS (SHOCKED AND NERVOUS) / TOP - TOPSHOP / STRAPPY MIRROR HEELS - NEW LOOK

Another day another crazy print on some of my trousers - the plot thickens. These are actually from Dorothy Perkins (not somewhere I'd usually shop- nothing wrong with it, just not usually where I find my clothes). I went in there when I saw the SALE sign, like a total shopahoic and got these for a cheeky £18 (including student discount, which I'm still trying to use- ha ha) Although I really like them they were too big on the waist when I bought them so I took them in and now they fit a bit strangely on the bum, hence no side way views. As my friends will tell you I'm all about big bootays, but these trousers are a bit ridic at how booty-lcious they are!

I love shoes with mirror panels on and these have merely added to my vast collection of strappy shoes, which are a total summer night out staple. The thing I like about strappy shoes is that they make feet look pretty. I have a massive aversion to feet and so as far as I'm concerned they need all the help they can get! New Look shoes are always quite reasonably priced, but sometimes its a compromise with comfort. These, however, are really comfy and not too high, which, as a tall gal is a big deal for me!

What's your summer staple? Where's your best place to get shoes?

** Grad Ballin' **

THE GALS AND OUR DRESSES (L-R):
CHARLOTTE: EBAY
FFION: MONSOON
SHAUNA: MISSGUIDED
LEXIE: MISSGUIDED

I stumbled across this long over due post when I was browsing over my recent posts, its been collecting cyber dust for about 2 months. ERROR. I'd been meaning to post it but obviously forgot about it.

My dress was actually from Missguided.com which I was quite impressed by as I wasn't really expecting to find it on there, I felt really great in it and it was such a good price! Had a minor problem of my nips being out 98% of the night **bra problems**... entertaining for others, not so much for me! I also burnt a hole in my dress THE NIGHT BEFORE the ball but it wasn't visible on the night!

My gal pals and I had the best night ever, lots of drunken DMC's and dancing! Makes me miss unay SO MUCH!

Sorry about some of the rubbish photo quality, they were all taken on an iPhone & sometimes go a bit funny :(

** Tribal print trousers but no tribe **

TROUSERS - TOPSHOP / HAT - PRIMARK / SANDLES - PRIMARK / SANDALS - PRIMARK

Despite my love for block colours (mentioned in my post yesterday) I have also developed a love for a crazy print, whether that be love heart jeans (coming soon) or polka dot dungarees (also coming soon!).

These trousers from Topshop are my ultimate printed clothing item. They are so BEAUT and I love the shape of them, they're perfect for summer. My boyfriend told me I look like Desmond Tutu which isn't the look I'm actually going for surprisingly! ha ha

I'm not a massive hat gal, especially this O.T.T floppy number but I bought it a while ago and thought it was a nice addition to this outfit which I wore to dinner with my gal pals on Sunday evening which is actually something I should stop doing so much. Now that I'm home until I get a "proper" job all my money is going on clothes (bad)/going out (hangovers = ERROR) /dinners out (not good for the old physique and means I have to live at the gym!). I'm literally the worlds worst person with money. Error.

I really hope the weather stays nice for a bit longer so I can maximise my new-ish summer wardrobe and get some more bloggy posts.

What's your biggest spends? Do you prefer bold prints on your clothes or more simple and classic clothing?

Summer Ruffles

SKIRT - ZARA / SHIRT - H&M / BAG - PRIMARK / SHOES - PRIMARK

Who doesn't love Zara? This summer its been my go to staple shop for just about everything, from shoes to skirts to accessories.

My fave recent buy from Zara is this gorgeous skirt. I love everything about it. Its vibrant, flattering and can be dressed up for a night out or cocktails and then down for daytime wear. I've recently fallen head over heels for anything with a ruffle at the bottom, and now own a stupid amount of clothing variations with this feature! oppsy!

This skirt is particularly great because it sits on my waist, the smallest part of me rather than my hips, which is not a good look for me! Its all about dressing for your figure ladies!

I don't think Zara still stock this skirt (I was gutted when I saw it for HALF PRICE in the sale after having bought it at full price!) but they have a few similar bits including this amazing cream skirt (£35.99)...

PS Sorry about the blurry photos, my camera wasn't willing to work with me!
